At the age of 8 years old, I knew I was an artist. I attended C.W Post, LIU receiving a BFA in Fine Art and a MS in education. I've been teaching art in schools for over 30 years while working as an exhibiting artist. Creating makes me whole. I've made it my life's mission to offer the gift of art to others as we are all creative beings with a little confidence, guidance and encouragement.​ 

 

The slogan "GET ARTY" has been part of my career since 1990, after an exchange of words with a young student who was overwhelmed by life. I encouraged him to "GET ARTY" because creating can provide inner peace and escapism from everyday worries and situations. "GETTING ARTY" is a state of mind which allows you to express yourself.
